You choose something memorable such as yoursitename or any other short names.
This associate store id must be integrated into your amazon affiliate link. Amazon tracks your commission using this associate store id.
You can choose any name for this.

Amazon associate store id is the basic of all affiliate links you create on amazon associates program. It is nothing but a simple piece of text you assign as a associate store id. It can be your name, your website or any other short word. Every time you create an affiliate link to promote to your readers, associate store id will be attached to it.
For eg: assume your amazon associate store id is Upniche, Amazon will usually add an number to it.
So your affiliate link will look like amazon.com / BBINCXX / ?Upniche-20
You don't have to worry about this tag too much as you can create as many tags within your amazon associates account.
